     EVAN, LORD TREDEGAR

SELECTED QUOTATIONS

FROM HIS BIOGRAPHER, WILLIAM CROSS

AUTHOR OF SEVEN BOOKS ON EVAN FREDERIC MORGAN

Mr Evan Morgan, one of those Bohemian peers’ sons who has taken a line of his own – as a poet, an art critic, an upholder of the Roman Church and as a lover;  The Graphic, 5 May 1928.

.... Mr Morgan is fastidious in dress. I once met him at a well known dance club wearing two gigantic black pearl studs. He had too, the most  bediamonded set [ i.e. wearing or featuring a diamond] of white-waistcoat buttons I have ever seen.   The Tatler, 1928.
